On a transfer order, if I try and change the line level expected receipt date, it saves, but it reverts back to the previous value. Even the line level history has the last value as what I entered. Is the expected receipt date on an open TO able to be modified?
n
Yes it can be modified. This sounds like a workflow or script overwriting your entry. Stands to reason if you have a standard lead time, someone has made a workflow that takes the transaction date + static number of days to populate that field.
s
I've disabled all workflows and scripts and it still does it
n
Can you see anything in the line history showing this happening?

You can flip the 1st and 2nd line
so it goes 8/19/22 --> 8/31/2022 --> 8/19/2022
n
I’m going to standby my original thought, and recommend double checking your workflows/scripts. Sorry I couldn’t be more help.
s
I did unfortunately. the system notes show it with zero workflow activity
weirdness!
n
The workflow could have logging disabled.

Move Transfer Order ERD to Suspended from Not Initiating and try again.
s
Same results. Man this is frustrating
n
Do you have any filters on your workflow list that may be restricting your results?
s
I have a filter on sub record type (transfer order)
n
Under Scripted Records, are there any scripts on TOs?
s
Nope
n
That suggests it’s the workflow. Maybe try refreshing your cache, and try 1 more time, if no go I am throwing in the towel.

and nothing in "custom code" on the form
An update, it is always changing it to the current date that I save it
@Nick so it is using the accounting preference Default Lead time between locations. Now I have to see if I can override it
n
@screnshaw my system has default lead time set, and it does not populate on TOs. Curious if you figured this out.
s
Not yet. It takes whatever the date is on the top header level and puts it in the expected receipt date

I found if I had a TO that was not shipped yet. and I use Supply Allocation & ALLOCATION STRATEGY, there is a global setting for lead time between locations. It would take the Expected Ship Date, add the lead time to give the Receipt date. once the TO Shipped, I was able to manually change the Receipt date.
