account 2441, accounts payable. the client buy in USD from the vendor, but the client's base currency is EUR. the vendor have 0 in balance in USD, but 25 in the base currency. how can I find that difference? I guess it is a currency revaluation somewhere that have gone wrong. it is "current" as rate type on 2441

Check if the system account for unrealized matching gain loss is available for all sub Create foreign variance posting rule with this type of currency revaluation And run the process
m
thank you @Marc ! How shall the rule look like?
The criterias
We have two rules already. One for Gain as well
I did find the transaction that build up the exchange difference. It is a currency revaluation from a bill payment, where the bill payment has been declined (and not posting) but the CR-transaction was not reverse or deleted..

I believe the next bill payment will generate one more currency revaluation and you will have zero balance in a base currency. On other hand its a bit strange if you say that you client has zero balance, it can't be so if the payment is missing.

@Arūnas Žindžius Will try it in sandbox when it is refreshed. This particular vendor record will not be used anymore
