Hi! I got a report of some Revenue Elements not being attached to Revenue Arrangements. When I tried to add them manually I was getting an error since the Revenue Amount wasn’t matching the Sales Amount, in fact the Revenue Amount was empty. Why would the RE be created with an empty Revenue Amount? System Notes do not show anyone editing that field

Revenue arrangement and revenue elements are in fact two separate records. Revenue elements are sublist lines in REVA. However with 2-3 years experience in Advanced revenue recognition, I never encountered such scenario. Maybe you should check the triggers for the creation of your REVA and revenue plan settings on your config. Something doesnt make sense.

Thanks for your input. We’ve narrowed down this issue to most likely order of operations: line was billed immediately after its creation, being the RE for said line created days later.
