Any email gurus out there?? Is there a way to force Netsuite to use your FROM email as the Reply To, instead of using the random netsuite message string?

You could email like this using a workflow. However, if you are emailing a customer that Netsuite string is crucial for that to show up in the communication tab.

What Tim said. The email isn't random, it allows the message thread to get recorded in NetSuite to the appropriate records. I resisted this initially, too, but it's really how you want emails to send -- especially when they are transactional. The "paper trail" is important if you have lots of people on your team who need the visibility. The Communication tab saves a lot of guess work and email threads "lost" in other peoples sent items / inboxes.

Agreed, we are trying to integrate with Zendesk, so that would become our primary audit trail instead of Netsuite for this case. @Tim Chapman can you clarify how with a workflow? I'm able to set the From email in the workflow, but it still doesn't seem to adjust the Reply To. Would this only be possible with a workflow action script?
