Manufacturing-ish question (and not sure if this particular channel is the right place). Let's say for example that we have an Assembly Item, and one of the components of that item is a kind of tablet-y computer that's integrated into the final product. What would be a recommended process flow/consoderations in a scenario where, the computer breaks, and the computer can be removed from the unit and be replaced? Obviously we would have to log a return of some sort, but what if it's just a component of an assembly being returned?

Hi Nick, just letting you know there is also a #C2KBDGPGV in case you want to try there too. I haven't seen your use case come up specifically but I'd imagine you could do a simple swap with a return of the bad component through RMA to a quarantine / QA location, and then send out a no-charge sales order / fulfillment to the customer with the correct component. Then I'd go back and update the BOM if need be, maybe start a new revision if replacing a faulty component with a new one.
