Does anyone experience installing Suitetax Engine without tax codes (or tax codes are all inactive)?

Did you activate SuiteTax for a subsidiary but tax codes were not automatically provisioned? Just trying to understand what the problem is

@AK correct, I did install and activate on sub level and I notice there's no tax automatically provisioned.

this normally indicates an error. They should have been provisioned. When you save the subsidiary record it runs bulk processes. Did you see any errors there? Did it email you any errors?

it doesn't. it will give me bunch of inactivate tax codes
but i get email of error message

is there a header where it explains the error? Also, did some tax codes get provisioned or none at all?

There isn't. All tax codes provision but all inactivated

you can make them active, it is not an issue. You can also check if tax types and vendors were provisioned too

what about tax rate? I notice these inactive tax codes don't have rates
will suitetax provide rates?

If you edit them you should see rates. The rates are there, don't worry 🙂

if you are in sandbox, the best way to test for you would be to create a transaction and see what rate is applied

you can also check if you created all the nexuses. Each state would be a separate nexus as far as I remember

does it need a parents on those nexus?

I don't remember if it does for the US. Try to google it
