Is it possible to integrate NetSuite with Slack? Has anyone done this? If so, how and what do you use it for? I'd like to understand what the capabilities are for this please

We did. We have a simple integration that sends notifications to different channels and users when vendor records are created. For this one, we created a script in NetSuite.

We also have a more complex integration that allows users to receive POs directly from Slack. This one requires more interaction with Slack so we  created a NodeJS app for that.

You can pretty much do anything with the Node app. NetSuite scripts will be more for messages and alerts.

Slack will need the credentials/tokens of an integration user to communicate with NetSuite so 1 license is required.

The item receipt system notes will show that it was created by the integration user and the slack id of the user who received the PO is added to a custom field `received by abc.def via Slack`
