So I've been utilizing freecodecamp to start learning JS, but I get to a certain point where everything becomes kind of confusing and almost like I missed something in previous challenges. I've restarted and gone through the whole Basic JavaScript section twice now, and by the time I get to the last 10 or so challenges, I becomes difficult. Is there a better resource out there for me to be able to get moving on this so I can start actually utilizing SuiteScript ?

freecodecamp has a great youtube channel as well. Harvard's "CS50" on youtube is great for intro to computer science stuff. codeacademy if you want to change it up (similar to freecodecamp). All in all, I jump between online resources and come back later when I can wrap my head around the next portion. Never a bad idea to learn the same stuff from many places.
Also, phone app "SoloLearn" was good for a few months of learning from mobile.

Mosh is one of my favorite code teachers. He has an excellent way of explaining things so that they make sense (to me at least). Here is his free javascript course. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLTjRvDozrdlxEIuOBZkMAK5uiqp8rHUax

immersion is the key to all learning. try watching nerds talk about coding on youtube. you can't learn exclusively from syntax, you also need to pick up terminology, concepts, etc. i wouldn't just try and learn js either.
a ~$7 udemy course can be really helpful
