oh gawd, I've worked on NS for over 6 years and still have days when it makes my head spin. An issue I have is that I can end up working on very similar pieces for months on end then when I move to another project find I'm having to recall how to do certain things again. Often times I can grab old code and flick through it quickly to remind myself but I've not worked on SS2.0 all that long as a percentage of that 6 years.

That's one way NFT comes in handy - the programming model is similar between SS1 and 2 with NFT so I don't have to do as much mental shift. It also helps that the code is simpler in both cases with NFT as well. Thought I'd mention it as this was a somewhat nice-but-unintended benefit.
