I just found out that my company has acquired a new subsidiary as of June 1 and I've been tasked to start with their on-boarding next week 🙃
Currently we use Braintree (Paypal) for all of our Credit Card Payments and they've been great. The new subsidiary has a lot of in-person transactions (we currently have 0)
Does anyone know if there is a way to capture credit cards in-person with NetSuite / Braintree integration? I've spent the last few hours trying to find out to no avail.
Thanks in advance!

you need some sort of payment terminal (POS)- doubt braintree has one - though Paypal does offer POS

I struggle as they dont need true POS. They just need card capture. The invoice is already generated. Think of it like when you go to the mechanic.
I was trying to find something where from the:
NetSuite Invoice / Cash Sale / Customer Payment screen...
-->end-user could push a button
> suitescript calls the hardware to allow a swipe / card insert
> customer swipes card
> data gets pulled into NetSuite fields on the record
> send to the payment gateway

You can use a generic card swipe to capture the data from the card and pass on to the NS. Caveat is now a days most of the cards are chip enabled thus swipe might not work, and it wont be PCI compliant either.
