Hi #C30TUASAX is it possible to set up projects for multiple customers? We sell tickets to events and want to record ticket sales to attendees (customers) in a single event project.

IMO the ticket to the event should be an item. And then you can sell that item to multiple customers. And you can fetch the ticket sales by doing the search for that item in the transaction. It will also give you the ability to search which customer bought how many tickets/items at what price (if you have some pricing multipler based on price level setup in your system), etc.

Can I define the same revenue recognition for all sales of an item?

Yes you can define a rev rec rule on the item record and it will source onto sales orders and invoices when you use that item

This is not possible. You can only set a rev rec rule on the item record You may be able to set the rev rec date on the transaction by workflow or script
