Hey everyone! our scenario is that we are dropshippers and we need to set up an SCA store. So, we have selected the non-inventory for resale type and also enabled the drop ship checkbox. Now, we want to display the out-of-stock behavior via a stock notification extension. So, can we accomplish this with the non-inventory for resale option, or do we need to set up inventory items for stock notification?

What you mean by the stock notification? A reminder portlet, "on hand" information when viewing a Sales Order or something else? And you created it as non inventory, then what's the logic you expected to calculate the "on hand" quantity?
