Hey everyone! πŸ‘‹ I'm currently building a SuiteApp that I want to distribute to my customers. Like you already know, becoming a member of the SuiteCloud Developer Network isn't that most straight forward thing to do and I was wondering what kind of alternatives do I have in terms of distributing my SuiteApp among to my customers NetSuite instances? I want to opt for the easiest solution (for the customer that is), but also something fellow NetSuite people are accustomed to. Thankful for any answers/feedback on this topic πŸ™‡

I believe you can distribute as a bundle or depending on what it is, you can do a chrome extension. Suiteapp distribution is the most trusted and acknowledged but it’s a paid option from what I know

Thanks for the reply! I've currently been developing my app with the SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF) and am provisioning the app to my own NetSuite instances via that, specifically the
suitecloud project:deploy
command. This works great, but doing that on my customers NetSuite instances felt like "trespassing on their turf" if you understand what I mean. Distributing it as a bundle sounds like a good alternative, but from what I've read its considered deprecated? That might not apply to NetSuite professionals who still want to use it though. Is there any way to combine the usage of SDF and still output a bundle?

Becoming a suitecloud development partner doesn't mean you get to create any suiteapp you want. You still need to have the app approved and have a suiteapp that "fills a gap". NetSuite really is the most gatekept'd system around.
If you are denied, they tell you to sell your product as a bundle, just fyi.
