Hi All! How can I get the Posting Period field data on my Sales Order? I already created a custom body field on my Sales Order and I'm trying different methods (workflow, saved search) and can't get it to flow through.

on your custom field go to Default Value and type {period] in it, save. should work

I couldn't get this to work by making the default value {period}. My custom field is on the Sales Order and the Posting Period is on the Invoice.

i completely blanked - SO is non-posting transaction, and likely that’s why you cannot bring in onto your SO record. If you want invoice date (not period) you can find it in related records on SO
