When manufacturing custom items especially, we would like to take photos of the final product for future reference, associated with the work order / sales order that it was associated with. Anyone already doing that? Should that be in NetSuite? or is this an out-of-NetSuite app? any comments or opinions on that would be appreciated. thank you!

To do this using native functionality would be cumbersome I’ve seen it done but it’s not a great user experience. Mostly I’ve seen an iPad us d to take the picture then use either drag and drop or native files to upload the picture to the work order or item record You can build a custom app that would “walk the user” through the process Ie post the completion Require an image Store the image against WO or item (Any other task needed) But this would all be a custom build

Ok. cool. I didnt know about the NetSuite integration for Box or OneDrive. I will look into that! (and the custom app).

NetSuite Drag and Drop works for us.

RF-Smart has a custom function for this as well.
