Hello everyone, could you please share your use cases for the Statistical accounts? I would like to gain deeper insights from your experiences.

The two main uses I have seen for them are:
1. For use in Dashboard Reporting (Revenue per employee; Revenue per subscriber, etc.)
2. Allocate costs dynamically based on statistical balances.
There are others, but those are the two I have encountered most frequently.

Extremely useful for the accounting team for monthly allocation of expenses based on headcount or square footage

I have also used where calculating EBITDA but client only had particular expenses in accounts used to calculate and adjust for EBITDA. Used Statistical accounts to allow "posting" of the EBITDA add backs and not impact GL

I use them for reporting operational drivers at the act v budget report.
ie we report our COGS as a $/unit; eg: if we're building widgets, each of our COGS accounts is represented as $/widget in a custom P&L for both actuals and budgets
