Hello All I have a basic Charge Based Project that I am trying to bill sales orders from. The charges on the project generate fine and pull through to the invoice correctly. However when I save I get this error message You cannot edit charge lines on invoices, cash sales, credit memos, or cash refunds. I have limited any scripts workflow running on this invoice so struggling to understand what could be causing this. Has anyone experienced this same issue?

so, you set up your charges in the project record, no problem there, they are pulled onto SO as expected. SO is saved, and then you create INV and get the error without any editing? Have you tried doing it via Process Billing Operations?

The charges won't pull into the sales order i don;t believe (but happy to be told otherwise) if I let the charges generate and the Bill Sales Orders - the charges appear on the invoice fine and then one I save the invoice I get the error message above

yes, charges should appear on SOs if you are using them. If you are not using SOs (which is fine) you cannot Bill Sales Orders, since there is nothing to bill (frankly it does not make sense). Instead, do Process Billing Operations, and you should be good

Yes the line is typed as "Time Based" on the SO line but still provides this error
