Hello everyone, random NetSuite renewal question. Previously we've negotiated multi-year contracts for this but have now been told that NetSuite no longer negotiates multi-year contracts. Which I find extremely odd, is anyone else in the same boat?

are you saying they aren't able to offer you a multi-year contract, or they aren't negotiating on the renewal even with a multi-year contract? The longer you have been using NetSuite the lower the discount gets.

The former, they aren't able to offer a multi-year contract. Feels like a really odd practice and kind of a waste of time for both of our ends. Good to know on your last comment there haha, sure seems that way!

yeah that would be an odd practice, we were able to get a multi-year renewal last year but it was earlier in the year so something might have changed since then. But yeah like you said that would sound like a waste of time on both ends to have to deal with renewal every year.

Negotiating my renewal now and it's only a 12 month - they used to always provide both. This makes sense now why it's the case. Massive rate increase too.
