Is Currency the only thing that controls the exchange rate field on the sales order records? We were adjusting permissions because people didn't need to change the actual record type, but they will need to change the rate on the sales order. IT seems that once set to VIEW they can't change it anymore

The date field on the transactions also adjusts the exchange rate field.

Yea for some reason they need to adjust it, but it seems like that may be controlled by the Currency Permission, which is currently set to VIEW. When set to EDIT they can change it but it also provides access to the currency records themselves which isn't ideal.

When you adjust the exchange rate on the transaction, NetSuite will ask you if you want to set that value as correct and store it in the system. All further created transactions will use it…With VIEW permission you don’t have the right to change the exchange rate for the currency … Just my thoughts about this
