Is there a way for me to disable location from being "Mandatory" on sales order form?

When in Edit mode for a Sales Order, on the top right hover over Customize and then click Customize Form. Click on the Screen Fields and location is usually in Main (if not you can search for it in other tabs). Click Main and look for Location. Uncheck the Mandatory box and click save

Thank you, however it's already unchecked, but something must be making it required?

it could be a system setting for all transactions - that would be at the header level. you did not say where that location field is set mandatory, is it at the line or at the header level?
