The way I'm reading your state conditions, the state is being entered only for those 2 roles, so it's hiding it for them.

Yes, so your hidding the field for those 2 roles, change the equal to not equal to and it shoudl work

That is weird, it should only be not hidden for your 2 roles, maybe its your trigger?

Okay. Let me try to build a new WF because it’s a state in an existing WF so maybe it’s the initial setup that is complicating it
