Hi guys, Is it possible for subsidiaries to have the same department name in OneWorld ? When I tried to save with the same department name (but different subsidiary) It gives me an error saying the name already exists.. My customer complained that it's odd we can select the subsidiary but it doesn't let you use the same name ..

Hello Hailey, You share departments between the subsidiaries just as you share your chart of accounts. When you create your departments you decide which subsidiaries are allowed to use them. This means you only created them once...you do not create it for each subsidiary. If you do that you will get that error message. It is the same logic for accounts, classes, locations and more.
