Hi SuiteStars. I would like to hear your suggestions on how to book some intercompany transactions between the Parent and Subsidiary entities. The Parent sells some loans to the Subsidiary in exchange for "equity" Dr. Investment in Subsidiary $10 Cr. Loans Receivable $10 The Subsidiary receives the loans: Dr. Loans Receivable $10 Cr. Parents Equity in Subsidiary $10 Sometimes the Subsidiary sends cash back to the Parent, decreasing the Parent's "equity": Parent: Dr. Cash Cr. Investment in Subsidiary Subsidiary: Dr. Parents Equity in Subsidiary Cr. Cash At the end of the period, the Investment in Subsidiary and Parents Equity in Subsidiary accounts are set up to eliminate. Is this how you'd book it? Are there any alternatives better suited to netsuite?
