Canadian NS Developers. Is development of workflows, scripts and processes considered SREDable?

tricky question technically you can say that. SR&ED is suppose to be a credit for direct cost for research development of some sort or for product. Now how would you classify any work done on NS eco system - it cannot fit into SR&ED categories any ways. I have worked in Biotech-pharma, green-energy and software makers in Canada for over 10 years and never seen cost related to internal systems qualifies as SR&ED credit.
