Does anybody know anything about the partner record? A NS partner needs to be assigned to their client record but it's the Oracle account manager that needs to do it. What does this record do once the partner is assigned to the NS customer?

2nd hand knowledge but its a bit like who is your NS Consulting Partner since inception. They can also resell NetSuite in some fashion. They receive ongoing commissions for the referral of the customer to NS, etc.

I was told it also allows them to install bundles?

I thought that might be bullshit though, and they just wanted to make sure it was done for their commissions etc.

Not that there's anything wrong with that, I'd just never heard of there being a limitation if the partner record is not up to date.

The only ones I know that care about it are for financial reasons, I am sure.
