Hi all, i have a client that wants to set up a way for their clients to complete a digital acceptance of a quote and a copy of the drawing that goes with it before they proceed with work. Anyone have any suggestions of a solution on this that i could look at? I guess like a document type thing but needs to initiate form NetSuite and record in NetSuite that its accepted so that we can built some workflows to automate the process to actually order the item afterwards.

We have done two versions of this in NS. One sent a client to a page to read some t&cs then at the bottom they typed their acceptance. We recorded the document, time and acceptance name. Another method we just directed them to a Custom Record Online form which they signed with their name

We've developed similiar scripting with Docusign. So, you can automate the sending of a transaction (a quote for example), via docusign, requiring that signature from the client. Which is then all logged back to the originating transaction in NS.

Prolecto has an example of email capture approval, not as secure/binding as docusign but might be good enough
