How can you get all state tax codes to point to one tax account vs a separate one for each state?

Using legacy tax, suitetax or? And why would you want that?

Not sure, where would I find which one we are using? 'Advanced Taxes' is enabled. I ended up figuring it out. I had to write a script to update the tax account for each individual tax code. As for why -- not my decision but to reconcile 1 account instead of 50.

Ok, great that you solved it - so maybe you are only registered in one state or have someone filing for you? In either case the default is one for each because usually the expectation is you need to file/reconcile seperately (I guess some states have some coop there now but it changes all the time and depending on type of goods etc.)

I made sure to leave the agency as the respective states so we can easily report based on that. But yes, we are only physically in one state but ship to all states, enough to warrant taxes.
