I have custom record with a custom field (list type sourced from customer list). I would like to attach the custom records to the customer record. Attach it to the customer indicated in the custom record AND to the PARENT customer of the customer indicated in the custom record. Is this possible without creating 2 separate customer forms or custom sublists? Whenever I create a custom sublist based on a saved search, I can only define one record to attach it to under the Available Filters tab.

If you mark the RECORD IS PARENT checkbox on the customer field on your custom record it will show as a Sublist Then add a second customer field (record is parent) to hold the parent customer and it will show on both the parent and customer records as a Sublist Or Like you mentioned make two saved searches. One for the parent customer filter and one for the regular customer filter

Would both of those result in 2 sublists? I prefer having one only if possible.

Yes. Both options would be two sub lists so you’d have to customize the customer form to be different for parent customers vs regular customers
