anyone who knows if there’s a way to re-trigger the tax calculation on a transaction level in Avatax (Avalara)?

Do you mean in bulk or similar? Otherwise I think you just need to change tax code to non taxavbale, then back again, the header buttons should also force a recalc but I have seen many times that it actualyl doesn't for some reason.

I meant single transaction, can you tell me which button are you referring to?

I am talking about the netsuite UI - do you not have 3 header buttons for avatax? shipping addr, billing addr validations and tax recalc? If you mean in the avatax backend I am not sure but would recommend re-triggering from source (netsuite)

I see it now, thanks! however, clicking on it doesn’t do anything 😞

well I guess there could be some issue with the avatax setup but you should still now be able to edit the transaction, change tax code to -non taxable-, save, re-edit and change back to avatax (or whatever your avatax tax code is)

There is a subtab for the avatax service that you may or may not see depending on setup and your permissions/role but that would show if change was pushed to avatax
