Has anyone had to put in a tolerance threshold as a percentage before? I was trying to enter in a percentage for an overtolerance but its only giving me the option to enter an amount or a quantity over tolerance allowance on a item record:

I believe difference is a hard amount and tolerance is a percentage expressed as a decimal. So 1 = 100%, .1 = 10%, etc.

Agree with Tanner. Difference is absolute value and tolerances is decimal %z
