For some reason Main line is true as a criteria isn't working for transaction records. Is thier a formula for this criteria specifically main line = True

nope. main line = T removes dups

Right but when I put that criteria I get 0 results and I'm just simply querying out invoices with sales orders

are you also filtering for

applied/applying transaction : type IS Sales Order

? If so, that is only true for the invoice lines, so is incompatible with

main line = true

Main Line is True isn't applicable to Journals if that's what you're searching for

Try using created from. That is available to mainline
