I posted this in the Oracle community but have not received any responses yet so wanted to see if maybe here could help with how Downtime is accounted for in runtime and associated costs for a work order. Here is what I’m seeing along with an example for production data for 9/21: 1. Labor/Run time is being accurate captured and rolled up for the day (9/21) in the work order completion. We had two shifts, logging 477 & 87 minutes respectively. Since these were completed on 9/21, these roll up to the 564 minutes we see in the work order completion and also in Work Order->Production Data->AM Production Results. 2. On that day we had 3 breaks of 24, 30, & 15 minutes. We see this reflected in Work Order->Production Data->AM Production Downtime. Observations 1. Downtime (Lunch/Breaks) is not being deducted from run times. 2. The cost associated with the downtime is also NOT reflected in the GL impact. The Absorbed Cost is NOT excluding the downtime costs. Here are screenshots demonstrating what we’re seeing.
