Hello, does anyone here know what would cause an open period to not update when changing the date on a transaction?

Are you sure the transaction is a posting transaction? Also did the period field change or just the date?

we changed the date and it is an invoice so it is a posting transaction. I am trying to determine why modifying the date is not changing the period on the transaction
