Anyone familiar with FAM implementation? My goal is to import in flight depreciating assets with all attributes (i.e. original cost, placed in service, useful life, depreciation schedule) without creating the Depreciation History Records (DHR). For example, if not DHR, then perhaps we don't use DHR so the system thinks no depreciation for the asset ITD and then records all historical depreciation to an implementation GL that gets cleared out in the month of go live? Simple straight line for US GAAP only. Reason for wanting to workaround DHR is because of volume and the Prior year NBV field.
