Hi, I would like to send an email from a Purchase Order transaction using Actions -> Send email. I would like that email to automatically attach the Purchase Order PDF that NetSuite creates if I select Print on the record page. Is this something that can be natively done in NetSuite?

well, if you mark vendor as an email receiver on the Preference tab it will done systematically
you do not need to select anything, it can be done on Save of PO

And then when I select Actions, email The email I am getting out of SB is a message body of what I type, but no attachment.

when you click on Save button your PO goes out. It does not work on repeat. If you need to email this specific PO just go to Communications tab, click on email, and that will send your email

So we go through a PO approval process. So on the creation of the PO the user hits saves. Then they submit it to the the next approver. There is no option for "Save & Email".

that step is done via WF
emailing and everything. you also add a content to your email and attach your PO as PDF

So might be a dumb question but when you say "attach your PO as a PDF" is this manually downloading the PO from netsuite and then attaching?

you see, emailing PO and emailing PO as part of your WF are two completely different things. So…. when you get to the emailing step in your WF there is an option to attach the source transaction, select it

So if I am emailing outside of the workflow, we need to attach the PO, even if the workflow is fully completed? No way through the UI and setting templates to automatically attach the purchase order PDF?
