Question: On projects, the resource employee rates are 66.5% less than their labor rate on their employee record. What’s causing this and why? I’m a little fuzzy with projects.

you may have different source for rate on projects. Check Financial tab to see if customer rates are used. You may also have rates assigned on items which are used with resources on tasks

No luck. No customer rate, no special rate on the timesheet service item. I have no idea why it’s discounting.

so what do you have for rates other than the labor cost rates assigned to employees? you must use some rate, what is it?

are you using multi-currency? the labor rate on the projects may be in USD and the employee’s currency is in a lower type of currency

Figured it out. The exchange rate on the project was altering the resource cost by exactly that much.
