Does anyone connect to Fifth Third bank using the Bank Feed App in Netsuite. They are on the list of banks that Netsuite says they can connect to, but the bank keeps saying no.
k
Do you mean people at the bank are verbally telling you no? Or are you getting an error when trying to connect?
t
People at the bank are saying it will not work, they won't even provide connection info
k
This actually requires no involvement from the bank itself. As long as you have an online login to the bank, that should be all you need. I suggest going through the setup process and connecting to the bank. If its on the list it should work. If you're familiar with Quickbooks' banking integration, its the same thing.
t
I will have to look at it again on Monday but I think we connection info on the connection configuration screen
There are 2 items I need from the bank to connect, they are the URL and teh Host Key, this is for an SFTP Connection. This is why I asked if anyone else has connected to Fifth Third, they keep telling me it will not work even though I have a document from SuiteAnswers indicating it will, so since they say it will not work, they will not provide me the needed information.
k
Are you using the Bank Feeds SuiteApp or ABSI?
t
Bank Feeds SuiteApp, at least I think I am, when I look at the bundles installed there is no bundle called Bank Feeds, when I go to SuiteApps and try to install the Bank Feeds SuiteApp it says that a script is already installed. I am trying to follow SuiteAnswer 96247.
k
Don't change anything in the header, leave it as-is:
You want these 2 default values, not "SFTP Connectivity"
t
I must be missing something, as those options do not appear in my dropdowns. I only have Manual Import and SFTP.
k
Is the Financial Institution "Bank Feeds"?
t
No, it is the name of the bank, I created one with Bank Feeds as the Financial Institution and still only have the 2 options I inidcated.
k
The Bank Feeds Financial Institution should have been created when the bundle was installed . You may need to reinstall the SuiteApp if its not there. I assume you're using the Admin role.

So I had to delete the API list from Netsuite, and then I was able to install the bank feeds app, this time it seems to have worked. Testing in SBX, Thanks for your help.
