Is there a way to prevent the list view filters from automatically submitting? It is really annoying when you are trying to use a multi-select and the page keeps reloading.

For saved searches? Sort of, but not really. My best workaround is use the Esc key or whatever the hotkey is for the "stop loading this page" button in your browser after every selection. It'll save the selection, but force the search to stop re-loading. If you need a more elegant solution, you gotta use reports or suiteanalytics workbook. Suiteanalytics workbook is really getting there IMO, still a little buggy, but like 95% of the functionality I need is finally there.

My biggest drawnback with that is the lack of good fitering on the workbooks. We have a single view for let's say, payables, that the team manipulates and sets their filters up. This way we dont end up with 100 different views.

You can do filtering on Workbooks by clicking the three little dots on the column values (and it's better for workbooks on certain things like accounting Period).
I agree I'm not ready to entirely jump ship off saved searches, but I'm getting close. A few more bug fixes and slightly better performance would personally put me over the line. The accounting Period filter for saved searches is a bit of nightmare, and a constant request across multiple companies, so just that alone is worth the annoyance of retraining people once SAW is ready for primetime.
