Payments > Bank File Generation > Generate Bill Payment File It doesn’t make sense that we need to have a separate search for each bank account when the Bank Account must be filtered in the UI.. You can even set a preference for a ‘default’ payment gen search.. which assumes you only have one bank account?

yes, you have to create saved search for each bank account; one-to-one relationships between bank and GL account is the reason

yep. the saved search is replicating the choices you would make in the UI if you used Payments>Payment Processing>Bill Payment Processing

If I was developing this, I’d be able to add the account selected in the main screen to the search criteria before I ran the search.. so it would ‘always’ match the selected bank account..
