Anybody have experience with the FEFO suiteapp? I am confused how shelf life groups work. It looks like you can set a shelf life at the item level, which makes sense. Items need to have x# of days of shelf life on arrival.
Then you can create a customer shelf life group which takes precedence over the item shelf life if the shelf life is different. Customer expects y# of days of shelf life on arrival.

What I don't get is, you can create multiple customer shelf life groups, but the only data points on the customer shelf life are customer and number of days. NetSuite allows multiple customer shelf life groups, but I don't see how FEFO would consider one shelf life group or the other.

What I'd like is to be able to set specific customer shelf life by item, but it doesn't look like I can.

Now that I have written all of that out, I think I get how it works. In customer shelf life groups, you can choose a Fefo shelf life group and then set an overriding number of days.
So, you can say, all items that have a minimum shelf life of 21 days, for this customer make shelf life 14 days.
It's not helpful for my client though, as they would like to select individual items to change shelf life.
