Hey, Is it possible to add an "Approve" and "Reject" button for invoices and purchase orders in the approval mail that gets send to the approver? So they dont have to log in to approve

You mean with the default approval system ? You need to log in, to ensure that the approval is made by the right person.

Yes, we use the default approval system. The email gets send to the Approver but only includes a "View Record" link. Instead of opening the record to approve/reject, we would like to have those buttons in the email to trigger the WF

It’s not a workflow that you can modify. If you need custom actions, you need to rework the whole approval process by yourself (transaction status, mails etc.). So there should be no way to do what you want, directly from the mail, since the regular approval system needs access to the transaction from the user interface, and the button to be pushed. Maybe you could create a rest request to change the status to approved on your transactions, but that would mean reworking the approval process, mails workflow...

@Artur_K My understanding is that SuiteApprovals cannot be customized to add support for other non-supported record types.

Square works, works on all transactions and entities, you can also do vendor approval process if you need.
