We are trying apply free gift promotions to sales orders imported via API (NetSuite limitation, doesn't like it). We are hoping to import them with "Automatically apply promotions" unticked and then tick them after save via Workflow/CSV to apply the promotions. I haven't been able to find the field on Transaction workflows, has anyone had any experience scripting with this field?

I wouldn't expect to find that field in a workflow
