12/23/2021, 9:24 PMSo we resolved that by changing it to taxable but in the Avatax section, adding a non taxable avatax code. That fixed it.

12/30/2021, 3:22 PMI didn't see any base Avalara in NetSuite, but for our issue it was happening when we needed to set the tax rate to Not Taxable, so instead of using that Tax Code, I just set the tax code to null and that resolved our issue, no error and no longer charging tax. Sharing in case anyone else has an issue like this. I created a case with NS, but they are on holiday so they wouldn't have addressed it until next week.
