Is there a way to default the customer form to “Individual” instead of company? Or do I need a workflow to do that?

In General Preferences, there is a default customer type option.
But if only on select form, and not all, then yeah maybe SuiteFlow.

well whaddya know. I recently did this with a Custom Form Script. Didn’t know there was a preference!
I still need the CF script though so it doesn’t let people change it to “individual” for us (we don’t want that option anymore)

@jen you could default it and then hide it on the form so no one can change it

yeah, but we want to systematically smack people with a message for clicking “Individual” since they’ve been trained NOT to do that, and try it anyhow.

@jen You give options to people, they will click it. As a part of UX, don't show the options that you don't want people to mess with.

Honestly, people would say “Jen the form is broken, the button is missing”
whereas now they click it and get a message that says
New "Individiual" Brokers can no longer be created.
and they leave me alone and bug their manager instead
