Hi guys... using a Saved Search, how can I get the relationship between Vendor Bill and Payments... it doesnt seem to be a field like "created from" like in the rest of transactions...

There's Applying Transaction and Applied To Transaction (plus fields)

Same thing, empty lines even if the vendor bill shows "paid in full" and I can see the vendor and payments in the UI... there is no link in those columns when creating the Saved Search

Are you sure the vendor bill and payments were created from each other? It sounds like they may have been created manually, and therefore not linked.

They still get applied though. When I do a saved search I get applied journals etc

But couldn't that happen if the customer/vendor was the same (vendor name placed manually). Just a hunch. Being under the same vendor would still be treated as being separate and unlinked documents under the same vendor. I wish I could say with certainty, but hopefully you figure out what you are looking for.

Solved now... the relationship shows using Applying Transaction and Applied To Transaction BUT only if the saved search is using Main Line: Yes... Problem is, other relationships only show when using Main Line: No...
