How does the company logo work at subsidiary level? (as in the one to the left of the global search bar) We have a simple subs set up - 2 subs and they are both children of Parent company, which is top of the chain. There is a logo set at company level, sub 1 and sub 2. Sub 1 and company level logo are the same, but sub 2 is a different logo. I have created roles that points at sub 2 only, and expected the logo to display sub 2 logo, but also the company / sub 1 logo shows. Any body else had this requirement before ?

you can't do it

Right, so that logo is always the company level logo, regardless of subsidiary ?
k
Correct.
I've had some instances where due to restrictions folks at sub B didn't know they were working at a child of Sub A - and so didn't set up a logo.
That was a weird one.

Gotcha, thanks Kevin

Are you talking about the logo displayed next to the Oracle logo? If so my logo changes per the subsidiary assigned to my employee record. Is that what you are looking to do?
m
Yes thats correct @AI1, how are you able to achieve this?
a
On the subsidiary record there is a Subsidiary Logo (forms) and Subsidiary Logo (pages). I set those and I think it’s using the subsidiary set on the employee record and whatever logo is in the subsidiary logo (pages) field But I’m not really sure. It just kind of always worked for me so not sure if I did anything special to get it to work

Yes, you're bang on @AI1, that the answer right there. The user needs to have that subsidiary assigned on their emp record, its not sufficient to have the sub on the role alone. Thanks man I appreciate it!

The main issue is that if you have someone with 2 roles to interact with 2 subsidiaries - you can't do that unless you set up two separate employee logins for that user. Which increases your license count.
