Can a saved search email be set up to use the record’s creator as the from field dynamically instead of the search owner?

You can setup any from address but I’ve never been able to make it dynamic. It’s always static. I usually use something agnostic like “orders@company.com” or “customerservice@company.com” Here is the format you must use: <Customer Service> “customerservice@company.com

I believe they will get an undeliverable email notice

Is this on a transaction that has a workflow? If so you maybe able to set a workflow field to a user then email using that users email address. We do something along these lines with our subsidiaries

Good point! This email is more informational notification so replying is not necessary. It’s just easier for visibility to have it say it came from Orders or Purchasing. Will keep the workflow method in mind.
