Hi! We have a non-admin role that is installing the BankFeeds SuiteApp. After first try at install, the install failed with the below message. We have given that permission and logged out & back in and the same Error message is still showing. How do you reset the install button after giving access to this permission?
l
did u log out and log back in?
in all seriouesness
d
yes!
Didn't do the trick unfortunately
l
so the install button is grayed out?
d
No. The "Failed" Icon in the screenshot is where the Install button used to be
t
using any other role than administrator to install bundles is just asking for trouble.
m
@Tristan Day is right. That error message means that the role needs the Allow JS/Html Uploads” permission added to it. Then it should work.
d
Adding that permission to the role didn't work unfortunately. Or, rather not even getting a chance to see if it worked since the Failed button doesn't seem to go away. Was trying to set up some admin style responsibilities under a non-admin role but we may just need to give in and allow a secondary Admin access
m
So you tried this under the role’s setup permissions?
d
yes!
m
And you logged out and in again?
That has to be done each time a permission is added/changed
d
yes, multiple times. Even tried from a different computer. And it's been a few days at this point too
l
there is probably a connected permission that isn’t being disclosed. Haveu asked support?
d
I will try that next - thank you!
