For real. I just had to “transfer” a good portion of our employees the other day. It would’ve come in handy.

Same here, it cannot be that difficult to implement as well since there is already multisubsidiary vendor and customer, the logic is very similar and it would help us a lot. Inactivating employees and creating new ones just to move them between subsidiaries is annying.

we don't need it for transfer employee, we have employee that works for multiple subsidiaries and wondering about Expense report

I see the first comment on this request was in 2012, so there are people who are waiting for this for 9 years

yeah either we create dummy employees for multiple subsidiaries or when they transfer from one to another we have to inactivate the employee record and create a new one. It's bad. The only paritally good solution would be using vendor record as employee and assign it to multiple subs - I have seen such approach.
