How are people managing the Total Storage Size limit (10GB in standard tier) in NetSuite? We're nearly at the cap with roughly half of that being file cabinet use. I assume NetSuite has its own pricing model for additional GB per year but what are alternative ways to mange that?

Hi @HL My company offers a SuiteApp named eXtendFiles that has helped numerous companies migrate their files out of the file cabinet and leverage their choice of cloud storage: AWS S3, OneDrive/SharePoint, Azure, GoogleDrive, Dropbox, Oracle Cloud or Box. Please check us out: https://extendtech.net/extendfiles/ We also perform file migration services as well: https://extendtech.net/netsuite-file-storage-migration/

At my previous company we ignored the limit, and NS never said anything. I believe you need to go grossly over the limit for them to start caring

Thanks and Dino I'll keep that in mind. One thing that is strange is that according to SuiteAnswers 79549, the file storage for Standard tier should be 100GB, whereas in Billing Info I see 10000MB = 10GB. Has anyone ever seen that discrepancy?
c
I've only ever seen the standard @ 10GB. I'd ask your rep to clarify that one as that is a pretty big discrepancy if it SHOULD be 100GB.

there are new service tiers, notably the storage limits are different

Service tiers will go in at renewal. Which is normally when they try to hit people with data charges anyways for the most part.
So you'll likely be just fine.
